Recently, Prof. Yu Zhiwen was elected as a 2023 CCF Fellow by the CCF Fellowship Selection Committee. Fellow is the highest academic honor for CCF members, and Prof. Yu was elected in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the fields of pervasive computing and IoT, as well as his outstanding contributions to the development of the Society.

Prof. Yu Zhiwen, a long-serving member of CCF, is a national high-level talent, a recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund, a chief scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program, and an executive director of the China Computer Federation, and has long been engaged in research in the fields of pervasive computing, IoT, human-computer systems, and crowd-sourced computing. He is currently the director of the National Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Cloud Computing and its Application Technology, the director of the Key Laboratory of Human-Machine-Things Convergence and Swarm Intelligence Computing under the Ministry of Education, and the director of the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Sensing and Computing Technology under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He is the founding editor-in-chief of CCFTPCI, and an editorial board member of international authoritative journals such as IEEETHMS, IEEE Communications Magazine, and ACM IMWUT. He has presided over more than 20 research projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program projects, National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China key projects, National 973 Program topics, etc. He has been awarded the CCF Outstanding PhD Thesis Award. He was awarded CCF Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, CCF Young Scientist Award, Fok Ying Tung Award for Young Teachers in Higher Education Institutions, Second Prize of National Teaching Achievements, and First Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education.
