According to the Notice of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the Ministry of Education on the Cyclic Qualified Assessment of Degree Authorization Points in 2020-2025 (Degree [2020] No. 26), the Notice of the Office of Heilongjiang Provincial Academic Degrees Committee on the Forwarding of Two Documents of Cyclic Qualified Assessment of Degree Authorization Points, the Self-Assessment Work Plan for Degree Authorization Points in 2020-2025 of Harbin Engineering University, etc. -2025 Degree Authorization Point Self-Assessment Work Plan" and other documents, on January 15, our college held the 2020-2025 Degree Authorization Point Cyclic Qualified Assessment Work Kick-off Meeting in Conference Room 4017 of No.21 Building. Cai Chengtao, Dean of the School of Computer Science, Liu Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Prof. Wang Huiqiang, Head of Computer Science and Technology Discipline, Prof. Yin Guisheng, Head of Software Engineering Discipline, Liu Zechao and Li Rongsheng, Assistant to the Dean, backbone teachers of innovation teams of each discipline and representatives of each office of the college organs attended the meeting, which was presided over by Dong Yuxin, Vice Dean.

First of all, Dean Cai Chengtao emphasized that all faculty members should attach great importance to the cyclic qualification assessment of degree authorization points, fully condense and enrich the connotation of disciplines, summarize the characteristics and achievements of disciplines, and carry out diagnostic self-assessment of degree authorization points of the institute to make a comprehensive examination of the level of construction of degree authorization points and the quality of talent cultivation, so as to improve the quality of the cultivation of the two degree points. Vice Dean Dong Yuxin interpreted the relevant policy documents of the state and the university and explained the requirements for material submission.

Prof. Wang Huiqiang, head of Computer Science and Technology discipline, and Prof. Yin Guisheng, head of Software Engineering discipline, made experience exchanges on index elements and observation points, resource coordination and assessment points respectively. Zhang Liguo, Director of Software Engineering Teaching and Research Center, and Li Jin, Associate Professor of Internet of Things and Intelligent Sensing Team, shared their experience in combination with previous disciplinary assessment writing work.

Secretary Liu Dong pointed out in his concluding remarks that the qualification assessment of degree programs is a comprehensive review of the quality of talent cultivation, and teachers of the whole college should raise the political position, attach great importance to this work, study and research the assessment requirements and assessment system, and comprehensively improve the level of the construction of degree programs in our college.
