From September 27th to 30th, 2024, Zhang Haolai and 23 outstanding master's and doctoral students from the School of Computer Science and Technology went to Macau to attend the GPC2024&ICPCSEE2024 International Joint Academic Conference. This conference was jointly hosted by GPC Academic Committee and ICPCSEE Academic Committee; Jointly organized by the University of Macau, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Harbin Engineering University, Heilongjiang Computer Society, and Zhongke Guoding Data Science Research Institute (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

This conference provides a platform for researchers, developers, and educators from academia and the working world to showcase their achievements and share experiences, greatly enhancing students' academic perspectives. Graduate students from the School of Computer Science and Technology have set sail in the ocean of academia and embarked on a broader research journey on the world stage. They had in-depth exchanges with their international counterparts, sparking ideas. In the future, graduate students of the School of Computer Science will continue to uphold the spirit of the school motto of "great engineering is the best, university is the most true", apply what they have learned to practice, and strive to become an important force in promoting social progress and advancing human civilization. They will shine on the international stage and write a brilliant chapter of youth with wisdom!

"This academic conference has benefited me a lot, broadened my academic vision, and deepened my understanding of the latest development trends and technology applications in computer related fields. After listening to the speeches and reports of experts and professors in various fields, I had a deeper understanding of edge computing, real-time data processing and other cutting-edge technologies. This not only improved my understanding of the overall architecture and technology ecology of computer science, but also made me realize the importance of interdisciplinary communication, which inspired me to think about my research direction from a broader perspective."
