To better serve the physical health of the faculty and staff of the college, from May 7th to May 9th, the Labor Union of the School of Computer Science and Technology joined hands with the Beijing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine to hold traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment activities.

This event responds to the call of the "Healthy China 2030" planning outline and invites Li Zhe cai, a senior physician at the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to deliver a traditional Chinese medicine health feast to all faculty and staff at the hospital's doorstep. At the event, four distinctive diagnostic and treatment projects were launched: Traditional Chinese Medicine "Four in One" examination of the five organs and six viscera, specialized screening for cervical and lumbar spine health, explanation of common occupational disease prevention and health knowledge, and targeted regulation of common chronic diseases.

This event is an important measure for the college to implement the construction of a "healthy campus". By introducing national level traditional Chinese medicine resources, the faculty and staff can enjoy the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine in "preventing diseases before they occur". The traditional Chinese medicine culture exhibition board set up at the event site showcases the health wisdom of the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon and knowledge of bone and joint massage therapy in the form of pictures and text, attracting many teachers and staff to stop and learn.

During the three-day event, Room 4011 in Building 21 became the "health check-in spot" for the college. The faculty members took advantage of their break and lunch break to come for consultations, and praised them one after another: "Traditional Chinese medicine experts who usually have difficulty registering come to the office building. This kind of service is so thoughtful!" "I experienced moxibustion conditioning, which made my shoulders and neck much easier, and also learned the four season health tips!" This free clinic activity is a vivid portrayal of the deepening of the "I do practical things for the people" practice by the Union of the School of Computer Science and Technology. In the future, the college will continue to connect with high-quality medical resources and establish a long-term mechanism for ensuring the health of faculty and staff.
